Academic Support Center

It is our mission in the Academic Support Center (ASC) to provide DeVry students with quality peer and/or faculty tutoring in all subjects and labs. The ASC also provides other means of academic support, such as various success seminars.

The Westminster ASC is located in room 220A, directly across the hall from the Student Commons. The ASC is also a great place to study - in addition to plenty of table space in a quiet, distraction-free environment, five computers are available for student use. Some tutoring is also available at the Grennwood Village (Denver South) Center and online via eCollege.

Tutors have been trained to assist in a way that will help students better understand the learning process. Tutoring is available through one-on-one sessions, lab support, and group study.

While free tutoring is available on a walk-in basis, appointments are encouraged. Hours and schedules vary each term, so please stop by to view posted schedules. If posted subjects or times do not meet your need or availability, you may complete a Tutor Request Form and efforts will be made to accommodate you. You may also email your request to John Burgess, the ASC manager: jburgess@devry.edu.

Questions? Please feel free to contact John Burgess at 303-280-7631.
